In 1995, Rick Morris founded The DEM Group, a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations firm. Growing to $4 million in annual revenue, the company earned ranking on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of 100 fastest-growing businesses for the third consecutive year before Rick sold the business and formed Fleet Walker Productions in 2000.
His extensive experience developing marketing programs for Fortune 500 and many emerging companies informs the strategic approach to every video project Fleet Walker produces. Rick has produced and directed projects for clients including GlaxoSmithKline, American Express and SunGard, playing an integral role in crafting videos that were the cornerstone of major national and international marketing campaigns.
Rick wore the hats of executive producer, writer, and director of the independent film White Men Can’t Rap, which won a Best Feature Film Award at the Philadelphia Film Festival. He also wrote and produced Closed Doors: The Integration of Baseball, a documentary that won the Robert Peterson Award for Excellence in Baseball Research from the Society for American Baseball Research.
Founder of the Da’Ron Cox Legal Defense Fund, Rick serves as Executive Director of the organization. The fund is dedicated to securing freedom for Da’Ron Cox, an innocent man who has served 16 years of a life-without-parole sentence.
Rick gained 14 years of corporate experience, where he managed the in-house video studio for GE at Valley Forge.
